Best practices for trimming your wick:
After your wick has cooled, and always before your next burn, be sure to trim your wick to 1/8" before lighting every time. This keeps the flame at its ideal height and reduces sooting.
NOTE: if at any point the flame seems too high or burning too strong, simply blow the candle out, trim the wick (when it’s cooled) and start again!
